Abstract
This document describes requirements, testing and marking of cable stoppers designed to withstand 80 % of the nominal breaking load of anchor chain cable. Beside important instructions on the function and operatiopn of the cable stopper, design characteristics are given without stating dimensional specifications. The document contains denominations and distinctive criteria for the different types of cable stoppers.
