Abstract
This standard is applicable to bellows-shaped elastomers expansion joints according to VG 95959 (see Figure 1), referred to as expansion joints in the text. This standard does not apply to expansion joints in gas systems or in hydraulic systems that use mediums other than mineral oils. This standard is not applicable to expansion joints in aircrafts.
