DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture

Overview

This document specifies the dimensions for screwed inserts with a slotted drive and chip space. These screwed inserts are preferably used for screwing into wood, plastics, or similar materials. These screwed inserts are not suitable for use in metallic materials. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 042-05-06 AA "Anforderungen und Prüfverfahren für Möbelbeschläge, SpA CEN/TC 207/WG 8" ("Requirements and test methods for hardware in furniture, mirror committee CEN/TC 207/WG 8") at DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture (NHM).
