Overview
This standard applies to portable single and multi-section ladders for specific professional use in harvesting, inspection, and maintenance work on trees, especially fruit trees, on natural ground. DIN EN 131-1 applies to portable ladders for general use. Amendment A1 clarifies that the standard is not only applicable to gardening and landscaping. The introduction and subclause 6.3.3 have been amended accordingly.
