DIN Standards Committee Timber and Furniture

Overview

This standard specifies safety requirements for ladders for window cleaning for special professional use that do not comply with DIN EN 131-1. Draft standards for ladders for window cleaning were published as early as 2018 and 2019, but were subsequently withdrawn because the topic was to be further addressed at the European level by CEN/TC 93 "Ladders". However, the European standardization project has again been discontinued. Thus it has been decided to once again prepare a national standard for ladders for window cleaning within the DIN 4567 series of standards. DIN committee NA 042-04-20 AA "Spiegelausschuss zu CEN/TC 93 Leitern" ("Mirror Committee of CEN/TC 93 Ladders") is responsible for this standard.
