Overview
This standard specifies dimensions and technical delivery conditions for solid wooden dowels for manual or mechanical connection of wood and wood-based materials. This standard differs from DIN 68150-1:1989-07 in that the structure of the standard has been adapted to the current design rules and the abbreviations of the wood species according to DIN EN 13556 have been adopted. Ash and Robinia dowels were added and American mahogany has been deleted due to CITES safeguarding provisions.
