Biological Durability of wood and wood-based products - Reference Service Life for wooden construction products
Abstract
This document presents landscape information and data including national state-of-the-art that helps build the consensus for presenting Reference Service Life (RSL) for wood and wood-based construction products to fulfil likely future CPR requirements and the associated new and revised harmonised product standards. It includes consideration of wood-based construction products applied in all use classes, how RSL is considered across the wider construction standards arena and what data sources exist that inform on service life of construction products and built assets. This document provides information on RSL approaches and defines terms related to Reference Service Life.
