Overview
This Amendment 1 is a modification of the VG 96912-6 detail standard for connectors. This standard is applicable in connection with standards of the series VG 96912 for connectors without protective contact and without protection against electric-shock hazard. The crimp contacts conforming to this standard are optionally included in the delivery extent (see VG 96912-1) of the fixed and free connectors according to VG 96912-5. To enable additional ordering and stocking of these contacts, the designations for the contacts have been specified in Clause 4. The contacts and contact inserts according to this standard are subject to type testing in accordance with VG 96912-1 and to approval in accordance with VG 95211.
