Overview
This standard is a product standard for plug-and-socket devices. The responsible committee for the standard is NA 140-00-14-01 UA "Steckverbinder und Steckvorrichtungen" ("Electrical connectors and plug-and-socket devices") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). The standard contacts belong optionally to the delivery extent (see VG 95234-1) of the fixed and free connectors (see VG 95234-5). The special contacts do not belong to the delivery extent. To allow additional ordering and stocking of these contacts, the designations for the contacts have been specified. Contacts and contact inserts according to this standard are subject to approval according to VG 95211.
