Overview
This standard is a detail standard for circuit breakers. The responsible committee for this standard is NA 140-00-08 AA "Schutzschalter" ("Circuit breakers") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE). This standard is applicable in conjunction with VG 95345-2 for circuit breakers for 24 V DC on-board power systems in accordance with VG 96916-5. Circuit breakers according to this standard are subject to type test according to VG 95211. They can be used at ambient temperatures ranging from -55 °C to +75 °C.
