Overview
The present standard is a detail standard for circuit breakers. The standard is applicable in conjunction with VG 95345-2 to single-pole circuit breakers with galvanic disconnection and a rated current up to 25 A (with or without auxiliary switches, temperature compensated). The circuit breakers are intended for use in electrical systems with rated voltages up to 28 V DC or up to 115/200 V 400 Hz AC in accordance with DIN EN 2282, VG 96916-5, VG 96916-10, and STANAG 3456. Components in accordance with this standard can be used at ambient temperatures ranging from -55 °C to 125 °C. Components in accordance with this standard are subject to approval in accordance with VG 95211. Working Committee NA 140-00-22 AA "Schutzschalter" ("Circuit breakers") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE) is responsible for this standard.
