Schutz gegen Nuklear-Elektromagnetischen Impuls (NEMP) und Blitzschlag - Prüfverfahren, Prüfeinrichtungen und Grenzwerte - Teil 75: Prüfung mit Direkteinspeisung eines Spannungsimpulses 10/700 µs (Verfahren LF 75); Text Deutsch und Englisch
Overview
This document is applicable to equipment to be developed or procured for, or to be furnished to the Bundeswehr. It is also applicable to the modernisation of equipment already introduced. The document specifies the test method LF 75 together with the parameters to be applied to the simulation of lightning disturbances coupled into conductors. Such disturbances can be caused by galvanic, capacitive, or inductive coupling of surge voltages or surge currents. The test method in accordance with the method may be applied to test unshielded, balanced telecommunication lines inside and outside of buildings, facilities, and mobile systems in all cases where interference coupling may occur. Testing on lines within buildings, facilities, and mobile systems can be omitted if appropriate protective devices are installed. Apart from the test method LF 75, the test method LF 76 specified in VG 96903-76 may be applied to simulate lightning interference coupling into conductors. Working Committee NA 140-00-19 AA "Nuklear-Elektromagnetischer Puls (NEMP) und Blitz" ("Nuclear electromagnetic pulse (NEMP) and lightning protection") at DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE) is responsible for the document.
