Overview
This standard is a product standard for connectors. The standard has been prepared by DIN Standards Committee Electrical Engineering (NE), Working Committee NA 140-00-14-01 UA "Steckverbinder und Steckvorrichtungen" ("Electrical connectors and plug-and-socket devices"). This standard is applicable in conjunction with VG 95319-2, VG 96938-1 and VG 96938-2 for Ethernet connectors for data transmissions (Category 6a according to DIN EN 50173-1, 250 MHz), non-shielded, (IP X7), up to 60 V rated voltage. Components that conform to this standard are suitable for use at ambient temperatures from -33 °C to 120 °C.
