Overview
The presented standard is an interface standard for electrical cable assemblies. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-04 AA "Konfektionierte elektrische Kabel und Leitungen" ("Assemblies of electrical cables and insulated wires") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies in conjunction with the standards for connection elements, cables and processing tools. This supplement shows the possible assignment of heat shrinkable components with other components for electrical cable assemblies, for example, connectors.
