Overview

The presented standard is a selection standard for mounting parts. The committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-17-04 UA "Befestigungs- und Kennzeichnungsteile" ("Mounting and marking parts") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies in connection with the generic specification VG 95387-2. It means a supplement to mounting parts according to VG 95387-4 and VG 95387-5 and incorporates a selection from mounting and marking parts according to SAE AS specifications for used for the entire field of the Bundeswehr (German Armed Forces). The purpose of this standard is to ensure the logistic requirements.
