Overview
This standard is a product standard for connectors. The Committee responsible for the standard is NA 140-00-14-01 UA "Steckverbinder und Steckvorrichtungen" ("Electrical connectors and plug-and-socket devices") of the Electrical Engineering Standards Committee (NE) at DIN. This standard applies to electrical connectors with bayonet coupling up to 500 mA, 10pole, up to 50 V, screened in connection with the respective standards of the same VG main number (consecutive parts) and contains the requirements and test conditions which are the same for these connector parts. The contacts operate in the pressure principle way. Properties and general regulations are contained in VG 95319-2. Connectors according to this standard are subject to a quality approval test according to VG 95211.
