Cables and insulated wires - Part 8: Sheaths of cables and insulated wires, detail standard; Text in German and English
Abstract
This standard is applicable in connection with VG 95218-2 for sheaths of military used cables and insulated wires and shall be used for development and production of military materiel/equipment. Sheaths according to this standard ensure the mechanical, chemical and climatic as well as thermal protection of the cable constructions towards the environment. Sheaths according to this standard are exclusively components of finished cable. Requirements and regulations which are identical for all types of components are included in the basic standard VG 95218-2.
