DIN Standards Committee Terminology

Overview

This document sets out requirements and recommendations for the provision of interpreting services in the community. It specifies the basic principles and procedures necessary to ensure high-quality interpreting services in the community for all language communities (users of spoken, sign, written, or tactile languages), for end users, customers, or clients, and for interpreters in the community. The responsible national standardization committee is Subcommittee NA 105-00-03-02 UA "Dolmetschdienstleistungen und -technik" ("Interpreting services") at DIN Standards Committee Terminology (NAT).
