Image quality assurance in X-ray diagnosis - Part 165: Acceptance and constancy testing of special medical X-ray equipment for digital volume tomography
Abstract
DIN 6868 165 specifies requirements for acceptance testing and constancy testing of special medical X ray equipment for digital volume tomography. The standard is intended to ensure image quality and compliance with the requirements of the Radiation Protection Ordinance in accordance with Sections 115 and 116. It applies to defined medical DVT applications and explicitly excludes other X ray equipment, including dental DVT systems, applications in radiotherapy, mammography, mammographic CT, Mammographie, Mammografisches CT, as well as other tomographic imaging procedures such as CT in accordance with DIN EN 61223 3 5.
