Overview

This standard is applicable to first aid kits of class B to be carried along in motor vehicles. The content specified in this document is intended to permit first aid to be properly carried out at the accident site. The dimensions of the first aid kit, the test methods to be applied for testing, the safety requirements for the protection of user and content as well as the designations and marking of kit and content are also described in this standard. At DIN the responsible committee is NA 063-01-06 AA "Verbandmittel und Behältnisse" ("Surgical dressings and containers").
