Krane - Ladekrane; Deutsche Fassung EN 12999:2011+A2:2018
Overview
This Amendment specifies relevant requirements of Annex I of the EU Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC for machines placed on the market for the first time in the European Economic Area (EEA) in order to facilitate the demonstration of conformity with these requirements. This Amendment addresses the significant hazards specific to the machinery, describes the associated safety requirements and/or protective measures, and requirements for user information. It specifies the minimum requirements for design, calculations, examinations, and tests prior to the initial commissioning of hydraulically powered loader cranes and their installation on vehicles or stationary substructures. This Amendment does not apply to loader cranes on ships or floating structures, or cranes with articulated boom systems that are designed entirely as an integral part of special equipment, such as forwarders. This document does not address the hazards involved in lifting persons. The use of cranes for lifting persons may be subject to specific national regulations. This Amendment contains the German version of the draft amendment prA2:2014 to EN 12999:2012 prepared by Technical Committee CEN/TC 147 "Cranes" in the European Committee for Standardization (CEN). The national interests in the preparation are represented by Committee NA 060-22-10 AA "Steering Committee CEN/TC 147-ISO/TC 96 - Cranes" at Technical Section "Cranes" at Standards Committee Mechanical Engineering (NAM) at DIN. Representatives of the manufacturers and users of loader cranes and of the employers' liability insurance associations are involved in the preparation.
