Abstract
This document contains common terms and definitions, principles and general requirements that apply to all types of product-related environmental declarations and environmental declaration programs. Environmental declarations are the result of environmental declaration programs and include self-declared environmental claims, eco-labels, environmental product declarations (EPDs) and footprint communication. The committee NA 172-00-03 AA "Life cycle assessments and environmental labeling" at DIN is responsible for this standard.
