This CWA describes the environmental ecotoxicity characterization of the developed bio-based materials. This complementary approach will allow materials and products to be validated in terms of technical and environmental requirements. The characterization process described in this CWA can be applied to bio-based epoxy resins; bio-based fibbers from wood and carbon materials and bio-based polymers in the form of pellets. The proposed CWAs will not define requirements related to safety aspects.
