DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics

Overview

This standard contains the most important connection dimensions for adapters with a cylindrical connection with a diameter of 25 mm and a diameter of 40 mm, which can be screwed to a polishing tool base body in optical engineering production. The connection is suitable for tools with a maximum diameter of 400 mm. The purpose of this standard is to standardize the corresponding connection dimensions to ensure easy exchange of connections on different polishing machines. This standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 027-01-11 AA "Fertigungsmittel der Optik" ("Production in optical engineering") at DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics (NAFuO).
