Abstract
This standard applies to grinding machine spindles with indirect or direct drive, which are intended to be used in combination with diamond impregnated cup wheels for production in optical engineering. The purpose of this specification is the definition of unified outer dimensions, which allow the use of the spindles with different machines irrespective of their inner structure.
