Measurement of fiber optic elements - Part 2: Determination of spectral transmittance of light guides
Abstract
This document is applicable for measurement of fiber optic components and products for image and data transmission (distances up to 100 m) as well as for transmission of light and optical radiation in the near infrared and ultraviolet spectral range. It is not applicable for fiber optic components and products, intended for telecommunication and data transmission over distances greater than 100 m. Purpose of this document is to specify a method to determine the spectral transmission degree of light guides.
