The responsible national standardization committee is Working Group NA 027-01-08-09 AK "Charakterisierung von Freiformflächen" ("Characterization of free form surfaces") of Working Committee NA 027-01-08 AA "Augenoptik" ("Ophthalmic optics") at DIN Standards Committee Optics and Precision Mechanics (NAFuO).
