Overview

This document is intended to describe services and services architecture platform-neutrally and defines how these descriptions can be transferred in different platform-specific environments. The focus of Amendment 1 incorporated into the main document is the expansion of the service metadata model with a detailed description of the corresponding data sets for service instances. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 005-03-03 AA "Kartographie und Geoinformation (Sp CEN/TC 287+ISO/TC 211)" ("Cartography and geographic information (Sp CEN/TC 287+ISO/TC 211)") at DIN.
