Abstract
This document specifies the dimensions, design and materials of stainless steel tubes for aseptic applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The tubes described in this document are compatible with components in accordance with DIN 11864, DIN 11865, DIN 11867, and DIN 32676, and can be used together in piping systems. The ends are suitable for orbital welding. Due to its specific requirements, particularly regarding tests, tolerances, and surface finishes, DIN 11866 differs significantly from other standards, such as DIN EN 10357. Interchangeability is not given.
