DIN Standards Committee Valves
About NAA
The scope of the DIN Standards Committee Valves (NAA) includes the national, European and international standardization of valves/fittings as defined in DIN EN 736-1. In particular, the principles for
- basic standards,
- product standards
- and performance standards
for industrial and building valves/fittings are covered by the DIN Standards Committee Valves.
The following are not included in the scope: standardization of
- pipe fittings (e.g. flanges and connection thread),
- fire extinguisher valves/fittings (except hydrants),
- gas cylinder valves,
- valves for use in refrigeration technology.
