DIN Standards Committee Foundry Practice

About GINA

The DIN Standards Committee Foundry Practice (GINA) is responsible for the Standardization on the national (DIN), European (CEN) and international (ISO) level in the field of foundry practice. This Committee prepares product standards for cast iron (grey cast iron, malleable cast iron, cast iron with spheroidal graphite, cast iron with vermicular graphite, austenitic grey cast iron, austenitic cast iron with spheroidal graphite, abrasion resistant alloy cast iron) and test standards for the surface testing and for the non-destructive testing (radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing) of castings and also tolerance standards and standards for product equipment, models and model devices.
