DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices

Overview

The previous standards for smoothing trowels and floor tiler's trowels have been combined and generalized due to their similar design, the many variants available on the market, and the similar requirements. The previous shapes and dimensions have been retained in the Annex for information purposes and as examples of designations. Two test methods have been added to ensure the safe use of the products. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-05-15 AA "Beitel, Feilen, Kellen und sonstige Handwerkzeuge" ("Chisels, files, trowels, and other hand tools") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
