DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices

Overview

This standard specifies properties for files and rasps with geometrically determined cutting edges. These properties form the basis for communication, for instance, between users and suppliers. A further aim is the categorization of these properties in conformity classes, amongst others, for unification of the data exchange. This standard has been prepared by NA 128-00-03-03 AK "Merkmallisten und 3D-Modelle für Werkzeuge, Werkzeughalter, Spannmittel und Werkzeugmaschinen" ("List of properties and 3D models for tools, tool holders, tensioning devices and machine tools").
