Overview

This standard specifies requirements for blacksmith's drift punches. In addition to the design and the dimensions for different size classes of drift punches, the DIN standard specifies details regarding the material and design of these impact tools. Furthermore, it specifies the standard designation and type of marking of these hand tools. This German standard has been prepared by Working Committee NA 121-05-12 AA "Schlagwerkzeuge" ("Impact tools") at DIN Standards Committee Tools and Clamping Devices (FWS).
