Overview
This standard specifies the main dimensions and tolerances of sliding plates to be used in tools for pressing. The standard applies to one-face sliding plates (Type A) and two-face sliding plates (Type B).
Along with the dimensions for different size classes of sliding plates, information for the selection of materials and standard designation of components are given in the DIN ISO Standard.
This standard contains the German version of the International Standard prepared in ISO/TC 29/SC 8 "Tools for pressing and moulding", Working Group 2 "Tools for pressing". The responsible German Committee is Working Committee NA 121-03-02 AA "Werkzeuge der Stanztechnik" ("Tools for pressing") of FWS.
