Overview
This standard specifies properties for standardized and non-standardized shaving cutters for involute toothing. These properties form the basis for communication, for instance between users and suppliers. A further aim is the categorization of these properties in conformity classes, amongst others, for unification of the data exchange. This standard has been prepared by NA 128-00-03-06 AK "Merkmallisten Verzahnungswerkzeuge" ("List of properties for gear-cutting tools") of the Product Property Standards Committee (NSM).
