Overview
DIN ISO 702-2 specifies the sizes for interchangeability of camlock-type spindle noses and the corresponding connecting faces of face plates or work holding chucks. DIN ISO 702-2 replaces DIN 55029. DIN 55026, DIN 55027, DIN 55028 and DIN 55029 are withdrawn with the publication of the DIN ISO 702-1 to DIN ISO 702-4 standard series. ISO 702-2:2007/Corrigendum 1:2009 (E) is part of DIN ISO 702-2. The International ISO 702 standard series, which forms the base for this DIN ISO standard series, has been prepared by ISO/TC 39/SC 8 "Work holding spindles and chucks", with the German collaboration of Working Committee NA 121-02-07 AA "Drehmaschinenspannzeuge und Zubehör" ("Lathe clamping devices and accessories") of FWS.
