Overview

This document specifies the procedure of determining the degree of crosslinking in pipes and fittings made of unfilled and non-reinforced crosslinked polyethylene (PE-X) through rheological measurement of the storage modulus. The applicable minimum values for the degree of crosslinking are specified in the respective product or system standards. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 054-05-02 AA "Prüfverfahren für Rohre" ("Test methods for pipes") at DIN Standards Committee Plastics (FNK).
