Overview
This standard specifies general quality requirements and testing for the material polysulfone (PSU) used for the production of fittings. It addresses manufacturers of fittings made from thermoplastics materials. This document intends to provide the user with a generic standard containing the general quality requirements and the associated necessary tests for the material polysulfone (PSU), if it is used for the production of fittings. The standard contains in particular quality aspects. The Committee responsible for this standard is NA 054-05-03 AA "Fittings für Druckrohre aus Thermoplasten" ("Fittings for pressure pipelines made of thermoplastic materials") at DIN.
