Abstract
This document specifies the requirements for the mounting of spotlights used in firefighting operations. It defines a standardized socket connection for spotlights and tripod pins to ensure a safe and quick attachment between lighting devices and their supports. The joint specified in this standard is intended for work site spotlights according to DIN 14644 and tripods according to DIN 14683. This document was prepared by Working Committee NA 031-06-03 AA “Lighting and Power Distribution” within the DIN Standards Committee firefighting and fire protection (FNFW).
