This document specifies requirements for sizes M3 to M52 metric coarse pitch thread and M8×1 to M52×3 fine pitch thread studs made of steel or stainless steel, with a thread length bm at the stud end of approximately 1d, of product grade A. Studs complying with this document are intended for use mainly in steel.
