Steels and cast irons - Recommendations for the drafting and guidelines for the application of flame atomic absorption spectrometric methods of analysis
Abstract
To propose, validate and revise routine and referee methods for the analysis of steels by wetchemistry analysis (gravimetry, titration, spectrophotometry, atomic absorption spectrometry (AAS),inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES), etc.).The selection of the topics to be handled are based either on the result of enquiries launched byCEN/TC 459/SC 2 or on proposals made within the WG.WG 10 also aims to prepare guidelines related with the spectrometric techniques.
