Overview
This part of IEC 63522 is used for testing electrical relay enclosures along with the appropriate severities and conditions for measurements and tests designed to assess the ability of DUTs to perform under expected conditions of transportation, storage and all aspects of operational use. This document defines standard test methods for appropriate enclosure sealing testing. This document specifies standard test methods for appropriate leak tests on enclosures. The standard describes test procedures and evaluation. There are no restrictions on the scope of application of this document. Application of this standard increases investment security for manufacturers and users and provides testing laboratories and manufacturers with defined specifications for testing.
