Overview

This part of IEC 63522, when required by the detail specification, is used for testing all kinds of relays. This test can also be used for similar devices when specified in a detail specification. This document defines a standard test method to ensure that the relay times are within the specified limits. This document describes test methods and evaluation. There are no restrictions on the scope of application of this document. Application of this standard provides manufacturers and users with greater investment security, while testing laboratories and manufacturers are given defined specifications for testing.
