Abstract

This document sets out the principles for sustainable composite insurance products and provides the composite insurance industry with practical guidance on designing insurance contracts that take sustainability aspects into account. It also creates transparency and security for consumers by ensuring that both the insurance product and claims settlement contribute to sustainable development and comply with the principles of sustainability. The standards committee NA 177-00-08 "Sustainability in financial services and products" is responsible for the preparation of this document.
