Packaging - Test method for determining opening forces for peelable packagings - Part 2: Dimensionally stable packagings
Abstract
This document specifies a test method for dimensionally stable and semi-rigid packaging, e.g. cans, cups, trays and, if applicable, bottles, which serves to realistically determine the opening force of peelable packaging. The test method is relevant for development, quality assurance directly in the packaging process or after transportation, handling and storage as well as for comparative studies and the verification of previously determined target values.
