Abstract

This document specifies the general principles and the technical protocols for single-laboratory validation of methods for microbiology in the food chain. Amendment 1 includes a new annex on the validation of larger test portion sizes for qualitative methods. Amendment 2 adds the single-laboratory validation of identification methods.
