This document applies to solenoid valves for use in or in conjunction with devices for domestic use or as a shut-off device, which are installed independently in a drinking water installation (according to DIN EN 806) between the main shut-off device (HAE) and a tapping point. This document applies to valves with a nominal diameter of up to DN 50 at a nominal pressure of PN 10 for the cold water range and/or hot water range with a limit temperature of 65 °C and at 90 °C for a period of 1 hour according to the manufacturer's instructions. This document specifies requirements regarding construction, function and electrical safety and describes relevant test procedures. This document was developed by working committee NA 003-02-02 AA "Fittings for drinking water installations in buildings" in the DIN Fittings Standards Committee (NAA).
