Overview

This document specifies a method for determination of the tendency of films and film composites to curl in the direction of and perpendicular to the machine. The tendency to curl is used for comparative assessment of the processability of films and film composites in production processes. Three different measurement methods may be used in the test. This document has been prepared by Working Committee NA 115-02-01 AA "Flexible, flächige Packmittel - Folien, Säcke, Beutel, Tragetaschen" ("Flexible packaging - plastic and laminated films, bags, pouches, carrier bags") at DIN Standards Committee Packaging (NAVp).
