Overview
This document identifies the capabilities and responsibilities required for the qualification of the AM operators on the field of the additive manufacturing technologies dealing with metallic parts production, specifically for the employment of powder bed fusion - laser beam with metals (PBF-LB/M). The responsible German standardization committee is Joint Working Committee NA 145-04-02 GA "Additive Fertigung - NWT & NAS Gemeinschaftsarbeitsausschuss Metalle" ("Additive Manufacturing - NWT, NAS & NL Joint working committee Metals and Aerospace") at DIN Standards Committee Technology of Materials (NWT).
